U.N. monitors arrive in Syria as killings continue

6 U.N. observers arrive in Syria
The team is to begin monitoring a cease-fire Monday morning, but as of Sunday, violence continued in Homs and other areas.BEIRUT — Six United Nations observers arrived in the capital of Syria on Sunday night to begin monitoring a cease-fire even as violence continued in parts of the country, further fraying the peace plan.
